BBB San Antonio Recognizes The Armstrong Company as 2023 Torch Awards for Ethics Winner

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving the center of Texas named The Armstrong Company the 2023 Torch Awards for Ethics Winner. This honor recognizes Armstrong's steadfast commitment to ethical business practices.

The award indicates Armstrong's dedication to upholding the utmost standards of integrity and transparency in the industry.

2023 Torch Awards for Ethics Winner: More than just a trophy

Carrie A. Hurt, President and CEO of the BBB serving the Heart of Texas, said that receiving a Torch Award signifies much more than just obtaining a trophy.

"It represents the profound dedication of a business to our community. Those who earn the Torch Award dedicate themselves to doing things correctly, knowing that their actions encourage others to promote an ethical marketplace," he added.

Armstrong President Dan Dailey said they were pleased and grateful to receive the prestigious BBB Torch Award. This award shows that they will always do business honestly.

He also said that this award shows they are still dedicated to running their business openly, honestly, and fairly.

"We firmly believe that ethical behavior is not just a choice but a responsibility that shapes how we treat customers, employees, and people in the community," Dailey said.

This award also reminds them they will always want to be the best by staying true to themselves and doing the right thing.

Armstrong has consistently set a good example of ethical leadership by letting employees and team members deal with customers truthfully. It has helped create the Armstrong DNA principles of honesty, values, relationships, communication, generosity, and unity, which are built on.

Any business with a central office in one of the 105 counties the Better Business Bureau serves can enter the Torch Awards competition. Nominees will be able to send an entry to BBB.

There, an independent group of volunteer business and community leaders will look over the entries and choose winners based on four factors: character, culture, customers, and community.
