After the months delay, Samsung Chromebook 2 was finally released in May with specs that promised to keep loyal Samsung fans in tact. Reviews from critics now surface online as they talk about the cheap and inexpensive laptop, without that much compromise.

First coming out in 2012 with a desktop version called the Chromebox running on Chrome OS, big names like Hewlett Packard, Google and Lenovo announced their own versions. In the following year, Samsung unveiled and released specifically for the Indian market, Samsung Chromebook with Exynos 5 Dual Core processor.

Samsung Chromebook 2 released early this year, boasts of exceptionally affordable price without compensating the quality of a chromebook, and a Samsung device. The main feature of the released Samsung Chromebook 2 reveals its simple and elegant design, beginning with the leather-built design. The official specs of Samsung Chromebook 2 reveal a 289.6-mm width, 204.8-mm in D, and 16.8 mm in height. It operates on Google Chrome with an 11.6" HD led display (1366x768), 4GB DDR3L system memory at 1600 MHz, 16 GB e.MMC iNAND embedded flash drive, with stereo speakers, internal digital mic and 720p HD web cam.

Latest news on the updated specs of Samsung Chromebook 2 reveal however that the most recent release include an Intel Celeron Processor N2840, 2GB of RAM with 16GB storage built-in. It also comes with a 4,080mAh battery that lasts up to 9 hours in power.
