Cowboy Chicken Brings Back Wood Fire Rotisserie Turkeys

Oct 20, 2014 11:13 PM EDT | By Jane Galvez

Cowboy Chicken returns with Wood Fire Rotisserie Turkeys for the holiday.

The fast casual restaurant brings back their holiday turkeys for a limited time, which they do every year. The turkeys are cooked and seasoned the way their wood fire rotisserie chicken is done.

Cowboy Chicken will offer the Wood Fire Rotisseries Turkey Holiday Package that comes with a 10-12-pound turkey, served with "Twice Baked Potaters, a Wild West Side, Country Style Stuffing," a Peach or Blackberry cobbler, and 12 dinner rolls all for the price of $84.95. It serves eight to 10 guests.

President of Cowboy Chicken Sean Kennedy said, "Our Wood Fire Rotisserie Turkey offers the perfect flavor and taste of the season and paired with our seasonal Southern Blackberry Cobbler makes every November and December special for our guests." They use the usual Cowboy seasoning, and to get the layers of flavor, they cook the turkey over a wood burning fire.

The Turkey won't be served just for Thanksgiving and Christmas since Cowboy Chicken already started serving the Holiday Package. Customers can purchase the deal till December 31st. They are advised to pre-order as early as possible as the package runs out around Thanksgiving.

Besides the seasonal Rotisserie Turkey, they are also bringing back Southern Blackberry Cobbler for a limited time.

Started in 1981 in Dallas, the Wood Fire Rotisserie Cowboy Chicken has been serving naturally cooked chicken for more than three decades. Aside from the chicken, they're also known for their award-winning side dishes such as the "Potaters" and homemade cobblers perfect for every meal.

The nine-unit brand is ranked among Fastcasual.com's Top Fast Casual Movers & Shakers in 2014. Forbes also chose it as number one in the list Hot Restaurant Chain to Buy into Now in 2012.
