Charlie Sheen has called off his engagement to Brett Rossi.
The couple, who became engaged in February during a Valentine's Day trip to Hawaii, were set to get married next month.
"Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list," Sheen told in a statement. "She's a terrific gal but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together."
The controversial star, 49, added that he wants to focus on his kids.
He has two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards and two sons with ex-wife Brooke Mueller.
Sheen also has a daughter with former girlfriend Paula Profit who gave birth to Sheen's first grandchild in summer 2013.
He was previously married to model Donna Peele.
"I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now," Sheen said. "I still have a tremendous fondness for Scotty [Rossi] and I wish her all the best."
In May, Rossi revealed that she'd reverted back to her birth name, Scottine, and was adopting Sheen's surname in advance of their nuptials.
"I'm trying to leave my porn past behind me and start living as me," Rossi told Us Weekly at the time. "Even though we aren't married, I still go by Sheen as my last name. I don't want to go back to Rossi since I'm happily divorced and it's pointless to go back to my maiden name since my last name will be changing again soon anyway... Everyone already calls me Scottine Sheen. It's different, considering we aren't married yet... But we basically are."
In addition to starring on FX's comedy Anger Management, Sheen recently appeared in the films Machete Kills and Scary Movie 5.
The actor won a Golden Globe for his role in Spin City and also was nominated for multiple Emmys and Golden Globes for his role on Two and a Half Men.
