Twilight star Kristen Stewart is ready to take a break from acting. The 23-year actress revealed her plans to USA Today.

Stewart wants to take some time away from film so that she can focus as well as challenge herself in other art forms.

According to the Snow White and the Huntsman actress, "I'm taking some time off because I've been working for two years. I'm an actor and that's my art form, and because I started that so young, I've always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create."

Stewart has been making movies since she was 14 years old. She rose into prominence for playing the character of Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga movie series. She also appeared in films such as Panic Room, Into The Wild, and several other movies. Her most recent one is Clouds of Sils Maria which was shown this year.

Stewart will be starring in the book adaptations of Still Alice and Equals, both will be released in 2015.

She also explained that she is going to take a lot of "time off" and planning to purchase a "live-work space in downtown L.A.". Stewart also said that she is going to create "some [stuff]" with her hands. The actress continued, "Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago. I'm making a short film. I'm making a bunch of stuff. I don't know how I'll put it out. But I'm not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time."

Even though acting won't be her main focus, the actress stressed that she will not end up sitting around and relaxing during her movie hiatus. The Runaways actress continued, "One thing that will stay with me forever is, I really love work. I love hard work. I'm somewhat OK with the isolation. At times I realize, that's so not normal. It's weird but it gives me the opportunity to do what I love."
