Motorola Droid Turbo release date is expected next week October 28

The Motorola Droid Turbo release date is less than a week, but we  already had a glimpse on what to expect inside the Droid Turbo retail packaging.

It will be released by Verizon Wireless since it has teamed up with Motorola in creating the upcoming Droid Turbo and expected at $199 with contract.


A new  photo has surfaced that shows live images of the upcoming Motorola Phone. The photo photo of Droid Turbo surfaced online last week courtesy if Evan Blass as he posted it on Twitter, and its manual was also accidentally posted by @Droidlanding on Twitter.

The Droid Turbo sports a 5. 2 -inch scratch resistant screen 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD display  Powered by a 2. 7 GHz Snapdragon 805 Quad- core processor and supported by 3GB of RAM. An internal 32GB is quite a large space for storage. Though its memory is not expandable because it doesn't have a micro sd slot. It is reported to run on Android 4.4 Kitkat but it'll be surely upgradable to Android Lollipop 5.0. Available in Metallic Black and Metallic Red.

"The rear cover will have a layer of Kevlar, which will help protect it from every day wear and tear. It is also water repellent and can withstand rain and spills, though it's not advisable to bring the gadget along when swimming or surfing or when doing any other water sports."(via Christian Post)

It is rumored to be powered by a 3,900mAh battery that can last up to 48 hours. It also supports fast charging and can get up to 8 hours of battery life for 15 minutes of charge according to ChristianPost.

According to the leaked manual the Droid Turbo will sport an impressive 21MP rear camera and a good selfie snapper at 8Mp front camera.
