‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’: Animated Series Teaser And Poster Released; Sequel Release On 2017

"Guardians of the Galaxy" animated series will be on the Disney XD next year. A video teaser has been posted in YouTube. The video teaser was first shown to Comic Con fans in New York. Moviefone has posted a sample poster for this upcoming animation series.

According to a Fandom post, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" animated series will attempt to continue the original story. The movie's trademark comedy will ever be present in the series. The villain Thanos will be one of the main characters in the show.

When "Guardians of the Galaxy" was first released last summer, people watch it droves and it soon became one of the highest grossing film of the year. Marvel and Disney plan to release a sequel in 2017.

In the animated series, Star Lord Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Racoon and Groot will once again save the galaxy. As mentioned earlier, this animation series will appear in Disney XD, which is a channel suited for more mature audience.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will be release sometime in the year 2017. The cast members and the plot for this upcoming movie sequel have yet to be release. What is confirmed is that James Gunn who directed the first movie will also direct the sequel.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" tells the story of Star Lord aka Peter Quill (played Chris Pratt) enters into an unlikely alliance with Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana), a former henchman of Thanos, Drax the Destroyer (played by Dave Bautista), a walking tree called Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) and Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), a Racoon with an attitude and really likes his guns. These four unlikely guardians must defeat Rohan (played by Lee Pace), whose greed for power may lead to the galaxy's destruction. To stop him, the four must prevent Rohan from using and unleashing the deadly effects of a mysterious but very powerful orb.
