Nearing the end of 2014, we still aren't hearing news about the release date of the highly anticipated "Elder Scrolls Online" PS4 and Xbox versions.

What is happening with the development and production? Truly, the released cinematic trailer video isn't helping with the excitement either.

Although "Elder Scrolls Online" for PC has already been released, news on the PS4 and Xbox versions remain MIA. Creator of "Elder Scrolls Online" Bethesda explains the delay in the release date early this year. According to GameSpot's report,"We continue to work on the console versions of 'Elder Scrolls Online', and game development has been progressing steadily, but we are still working to solve a series of unique problems specific to those platforms."

News on the "Elder Scrolls Online" delayed release date statement of Bethesda also shares, "Integrating our systems with each console manufacturer's networks - which are both different from the PC/Mac system as well as different from each other - has been a challenging process. It has become clear that our planned June release of the console versions isn't going to be possible. Though we have made great progress, we have concluded that we'll need about six months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve."

With that statement reported early this year, news that "Elder Scrolls Online" release date speculations were posted on an end-of-2014 date, hopefully around the holiday season as a present to fans, or may be an early 2015. However, no news on the "Elder Scrolls Online" official release date has been revealed yet by Bethesda or developer ZeniMax Online Studios.

This has led numerous reports to announce that "Elder Scrolls Online" release date is again delayed, when no supporting official announcement has been made. Apart from previous statement by Bethesda on console issues for the first delay as mentioned above, creators of "Elder Scrolls Online" have yet to confirm another delay in release date.

A simple proof and a shining ray of light amidst the "Elder Scrolls Online" release date delay rumors can found in the most basic of places. On the Bethsoft official site of the "Elder Scrolls Online" reads: "'Elder Scrolls Online' Available now on PC and Mac, Available 2014 on Xbox One and PS4".

So unless Bethesda confirms again that "Elder Scrolls Online" release date is pushed back, "Elder Scrolls Online" release date will be in 2014, as posted officially.
