At the GQ x Lacoste Sport Pop Up event in New York City on Thursday, October 23, Us Weekly spoke to 33-year-old Canadian actor, Taylor Kitsch. The discussion was about the fan-favorite sports drama, Friday Night Lights, that aired eight years ago.

Talks about a reunion on the very much loved drama series but the John Carter actor remained his stand that a movie will just ruin how the Coach and the team said goodbye. According to the former model, "It really does feel like forever ago."

When asked if he had a favorite memory of the series, he said, "That's impossible to answer. Oh my God. The last scene was pretty incredible for everybody. We had the whole crew and people who had been there the last five years. That was a very heavy one. And there's so many good memories. Really. We were incredibly spoiled on that show. Riggins' last game was tough. That was a big day. Those are the good memories I have."

In 2006, Kitsch was cast in a breakout role on the NBC sports teen drama television series. He played the character of Tim Riggins, a high school student who is a part of the team Dillon Panthers. The season premiered in October 2006 and ran for 5 seasons.

The actor also admitted that he still has all his jerseys from the series. He also revealed that he still keels in touch with his former co-stars in the series. According to the Kitsch,  "Derek Phillips is still one of my close friends. He played my brother. Kyle [Chandler], of course. We're still really close. [Jesse] Plemons, [Scott] Porter. A lot of those guys. I haven't seen Porter since his wedding, but Derek and I ride motorcycles all the time together, so I see Derek a lot. I hang out with Peter Berg. He's one of my best friends and we have done three movies together since."
