In the recently released Nintendo document of the Financial Results Briefing, the developer confirms that "Xenoblade Chronicles X" is indeed among the many video games in development that remains on track for its 2015 release date. In the 2015 release date that includes "Xenoblade Chronicles X", other games such as "Mario Party 10", "Splatoon", and "Yoshi's Woolly World" are among the Wii U with a 2015 release date.

Upon the opening of the "Xenoblade Chronicles X" trailer, Treehouse representative share, "We're gonna put all of humanity to a series of arch ships and just take off. Leave the Earth behind and that's where "Xenoblade Chronicles X" will start off."
