Ray Allen reportedly visited Chicago on Wednesday and instantly, rumors suggesting he might be play with Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Pau Gasol, and others kicked in. Allen, a two-time NBA champion who last played with the Miami Heat, is currently a free agent. It is no secret that he is still chasing rings and the Chicago Bulls are clear contenders in the Eastern Conference. A deal between the between the two parties won't be impossible.

People should take a back seat though when it comes to the prospect of seeing Ray Allen shooting threes for the Windy City. His agent immediately addressed speculations regarding his visit in Chicago and it seems that those who are betting on Allen to wear a Chicago Bulls jersey will get their hearts broken.

As per Real GM:

"Free agent Ray Allen is visiting Chicago this week and has been spotted on several social media platforms, but his agent Jim Tanner told RealGM: "Nothing to do with the Bulls.""

Last month, Ray Allen, who is also reportedly being courted by the Cleveland Cavaliers, said that he is still uncertain with his basketball future. He even said that he is also contemplating retiring after a colorful 18 seasons that produced two championships (one each with Boston Celtics and Miami Heat), ten All-Star appearances and one All-NBA second team.

"I've just been home, taking my kids to school," Ray Allen said.

He also insists that he is still in good game shape.

"I'm working out, taking care of my body. I'm in great shape. I'll just watch how the season progresses, and if I do feel the desire to continue to play, then I'll decide what situation is viable for me."

"I still feel certain aches and pains; that's definitely old age," he said. "To be able to run, and back off a little bit, lift, and back off a little bit instead of going at it 100 percent all the time like I've been doing has helped."

So the Chicago Bulls is not Ray Allen's new team. Who will it be? Ray Allen definitely deserves a new contract.
