Nov 08, 2014 04:36 PM EST | By Staff Reporter

Angelina Jolie is really an achiever. The actress is many things - dedicated to philanthropy, charitable works, acting, and being a mom of six kids. Not to mention being a success to all of those fields. She married one of the biggest movie stars and one of the most handsome faces in Hollywood, Brad Pitt. She is also earning crazy amounts of money for her work and has a lovely bunch of children as well as a freakishly huge mansion. So what's left for Jolie?

Right now, politics is the net step that the successful actress might be taking.

The 39-year-old actress, Jolie, revealed to Vanity Fair about a range of topics, including whether or not the Tomb Raider actress thinks politics may be something that she will look at in the future. While the actress continues to serve as a director and special envoy for the United Nation's High Commissioner for Refugees,  Jolie might be up for more work in that sector, saying she is "open" to a career in politics, diplomacy, or public service.

Jolie also stressed that her role with the United Nations has opened her eyes to what's possible for the future. However, she is also aware that people will most probably always see her as a movie star first. "If you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility. But I honestly don't know in what role I would be more useful - I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible."

Jolie is an American actress and filmmaker who has received an Academy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Award, and three Golden Globe Awards for her work. She was also named Hollywood's highest-paid actress by Forbes in 1009, 2011 and in 2013.

Jolie's full interview with Vanity Fair will be available online on Thursday.
