The A Series Battle: Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 Comparison; A5 Now Out While A7 Soon To Come

After rumors have been all around the web, the Korean-based tech giant finally unveiled two smartphones under its new A series. Samsung is now in it's game with the new A3 and A5 handsets dubbed as stylish phones that optimize younger generation's social media experience.

Galaxy A3 and A5, both equipped with metal and slim built, is set to be available in China early this month. Korea IT Times reported that the ultra slim smartphones are Samsung's ace card to be able to get back its top spot in smartphone market. This is because aside from its long time rival, Apple, another Chinese company is now posing a threat to the Korean based reputation as the leading smartphone maker. The three-year old Xiaomi has been known in making affordable yet tech advance handsets.

Aside from Galaxy A5, there is also the upcoming A7 smartphone from Samsung A line. After the launch of A3 and A5, chances are the last rumored handset's release date from the Korea-based company is imminent. So let us now compare the newly revealed and the soon to come Samsung metal smartphones.

GSM Arena reported the upcoming Galaxy A7 is the vest among the three A series smartphones. According to leaked documents, A7 will be sporting a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 resolution. This is relatively bigger compared to A5's 5-inch Super AMOLED screen.

In terms of processor, the soon to come A7 handset will also have a better 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615

Chipset with octa-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz while A3 features a Qualcomm quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. On the other hand, A5 is superior when it comes to its camera capacity. While A7 is expected to have a 12MP rear camera, the released A5 has a superior 13MP main snapper and 5MP selfie cam.

Meanwhile, the two alpha phones have the same 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory capacity. Both handsets will also have micro SD that allows memory expansion. Galaxy A5 and A7 will also have the same Android Kitkat 4.4 that may also be available for Android Lollipop 5.0 operating system. Both handsets will have an accelerometer, Bluetooth, a compass, GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
