Baskin-Robbins offers Veteran's Incentive Program to show their appreciation to all U.S military veterans on Veterans Day.

The company, known as the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, set more than $25,000 for their special veteran's incentive program. These include financial discounts on royalties and initial franchise fees. This agenda is for US veterans looking for an opportunity to open a Baskin-Robbins franchise.

Kentucky's U.S Army veteran Charlie Bertram together with his wife, Karen Bertram, took advantage of the incentive and opened a new store in Shelbyville last October.

According to the owner of the newly opened Shelbyville Baskin-Robbins, Charlie Bertram, they are proud that Baskin-Robbins is their first franchise business. He also said that they are pleased to be with the company that supports all military veterans with their special incentive program.

"Between the passion we've seen in other franchisees and the fact that my wife and I have been together for 31 wonderful years - the same number as the brand's famous flavors - it was an easy choice for us to open a Baskin-Robbins," Bertram added.

Bill Mitchell, Baskin-Robbins' President in U.S. And Canada and served as a captain in the U.S. Army, said, "Charlie Bertram and U.S. military heroes just like him should be rewarded for their service to our country." Mitchell also said that it is the company's pleasure to help military veterans make their dreams come true in having their own business.

Baskin-Robbins makes it smoother for capable U.S veterans to begin their own business with the franchise incentive program of the company that will waive the 20-year initial franchise fee of $25,000. The company also offers a royalty rate of zero percent for the first two years. In addition to that, Baskin-Robbins also reduced the royalty rate for three to five years for these qualified nobly experts.

Moreover, the company donated 10 cents for every scoop of ice cream purchased at U.S locations to honor U.S troops, veterans, and military families on Veterans Day.
