Phablet Showdown: Sony Xperia Z1 versus Apple iPhone 6 Plus versus HTC One Max; Which among this Phablets is Worth Your Money?

Thanksgiving and Christmas Day is just around the corner. So if you are on the process of picking the best phablets present in the market, here is a brief but comprehensive comparison of the three top devices from high quality companies around the world.

Before you finally swipe your card or sign your purchase deal, wait a minute and read this showdown among last year's top phablets, Sony Xperia Z1 and HTC One Max versus the recently launched Apple iPhone 6 Plus series.

Among the three top caliber devices, iPhone 6 Plus from the Cupertino-based tech giant is the newest, thus it is equipped with also the latest iOS operating system, Phone Arena said. While Xperia Z1 and One Max still feature Android Kitkat 4.4 news said there is a possible upgrade to Android Lollipop 5.0 next year.

HTC One Max is also the heaviest at 7.65 oz. while it can be noted that Apple's biggest smartphone is the slimmest among the three devices.

Display wise, HTC still got the highest score with its S-LCD 3 5.9-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels while 6 Plus ranked second with IPS LCD 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels and Xperia Z1 is still the smallest at 5.0 inches 1080 x 1920 pixels display. On the other hand, The Sony made handset is the best in terms of pixel density at 441 ppi compared to Apple's 401 ppi and HTC's 373 ppi.

The Japan-based company's Xperia Z1 is also packed with the much superior snapper, 20.7MP main cam with LED flash versus iPhone 6 Plus series' 8MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash and One Max's 4MP snapper with LED flash. Phone Bunch said HTC is just a bit better in selfie camera, 2.1MP compared to Sony's 2MP and Apple's 1.2MP.

Sony is also powered by the fastest processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad core processor clocked at 220 GHz, followed by HTC with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quad core clocked at 170 GHz, while Apple has the latest but not as fast Apple A8 Dual core processor with 140 GHz. Xperia Z1 and One Max share the same 2B RAM while iPhone 6 Plus has 1 GB RAM only.

On the other hand, 6 Plus has the largest 128GB internal memory compared to HTC One Max's 32 GB and Xperia Z1's 16 GB. Even with their micro SD expansion capability up to 64GB, Apple is still superior among the three phablets.

In terms of battery, HTC One Max is powered by 3300 power source while Xperia Z1 has 3000 mAh battery. iPhone 6, on the other hand, has now mAh released by is claimed to have one day talk time. Price wise, Apple is the priciest at $949 while HTC One Max costs around $667 and Xperia Z1 is available at $501 NDTV said.
