As "Batman vs Superman:Dawn of Justice" filming comes to a close in a matter of weeks, DC and Warner Bros. are well on their way on getting actors to play the role of their star-studded supervillain characters in their movie Suicide Squad. Some of the actors who are reportedly in negotiations with DC and Warner Bros. for the lead roles are Ryan Gosling, Will Smith, Tom Hardy and recently, Jared Leto as The Joker.

As for the female supervillain Harley Quinn, there have been rumors that model Cara Delevingne was being considered for the role, when she seemed to drop clues via her Instagram post of a Harley Quinn pic a couple of weeks ago. But the latest report by Collider revealed it's Wolf of Wall Street actress Margot Robbie who's gonna take on the role of the lover and ally of the Joker, according to their source.

Australian actress Robbie is said to be perfect for the character of Harley Quinn when she impressed both viewers and critics with her sex appeal and commanding presence on the movie Wolf of Wall Street, which was also considered her breakout role.

The movie will be directed by David Ayer(writer and director of Fury which stars Brad Pitt and Shia Labeouf) who was given liberty by DC and Warner to change the existing script. So for those who read the movie's original plot, expect some changes happening now that Ayer is heading the team. To date, the exact plot and characters of the said film are not yet officially out of the bag, but with the rumors circulating that A-list actors are being cast, DC fans are assured that this next movie to be shown after Batman vs Superman:Dawn of Justice will be a big one. Take it from Ayer's answer in an interview by Empire, when he revealed it is going to be a "character-driven" piece.
