The Blacklist Season 2 episode called The Decembrist, which also happened to be its winter finale, saw Raymond Reddington (James Spader) at his cruelest form. After convincing Berlin (Peter Stomare) that he did not kill his daughter, the two worked together to find the Decembrist, the person told Berlin that Red killed his daughter who turned out to be alive. The two tracked the Decembrist whose real name is Alan Fitch (played by Alan Alda), an associate of Reddington. Berlin killed Fitch after finding him. As viewers thought that Berlin and Red are already at peace with each other, the show's protagonist killed his nemesis in cold blood.

While Reddington was able to 'fix' his feud with Berlin, Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) is not yet done with her troubles. Her former husband Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) is now on the loose and (Warning: Major The Blacklist Season 2 spoiler, guys) turned out to be working with Raymond Reddington and not Berlin. Liz's loose end is yet to be tied and little did she know that her life is in danger. Threats will come at her and Red when the show returns next year.

According to a fresh the Blacklist Season 2 spoiler from the Entertainment Weekly's Inside TV, Red's life will be put at risk because of Liz and her connection to the Fulcrum.

"It actually looks like Red does not have the Fulcrum, but he will set his sights on getting it. Unfortunately, so will another Blacklister. But in the process, Red will be forced to risk his life to protect Liz, who you may be surprised to hear might have a connection to the Fulcrum," the Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams wrote in her Spoiler Room post.

The Fulcrum is not the only one that Red and Liz will have to deal with. A new big bad villain is coming to town. In new the Blacklist Season 2 spoiler from TV Guide, the team will welcome a thief that operates internationally. This new character will be played by Sons of Anarchy star Ron Perlman.

TV Guide wrote in its exclusive scoop:

"Ron Perlman is bringing anarchy to NBC's The Blacklist. The actor has signed on to play the drama's next mega criminal when it returns on Feb. 1 behind the Super Bowl.

Perlman will appear as Luther Braxton, a meticulous thief who plans his international heists over the course of several months or years. The ruthless baddie creates great diversions and chaos to get what he wants - that is, until he faces off with Red Reddington (James Spader)."
