Nearing the release date of the highly anticipated "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7"), news have surfaced that creators don't see this as the last in the franchise. Find out more about the news and how Paul Walker's character will fit into all these.

Initially titled as "Fast and Furious 7", the seventh installment is now known as  "Furious 7". Following the death of actor Paul Walker in a vehicular accident not related to the franchise, fans automatically assumed that "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") will be the last installment to the long-running franchise. However, recent news reveals that "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") isn't the last of the "Fast And Furious" franchise.

Recent news related to the "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") release date reveals that Universal Pictures' Donna Langley announces more that what fans expected. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Langley shares that while "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") is the last installment where Paul Walker is cast member, this surely isn't the last of the series.

Langley shares, "We think there's at least three more. Paul [Walker] is, and always will be, an integral part of the story. But there are many other great characters, and it's also an opportunity to introduce new characters. I think it's still a growing franchise. We'll see what happens with 'Furious 7', obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular. So we think that there's more to mine there. But we're of course very mindful about fatigue."

Paul Walker who plays the character Brian O'Conner died in a vehicular accident in November 2013. He was in the middle of filming "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7"). The production proceeded to film the remaining of Paul Walker's scenes with the help of his brothers Caleb and Cody. Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner is said to "retire" upon the "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") release date.

Upon the "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") release date, fans will see the return of the characters portrayed by Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Elsa Pataky, of course the last film appearance of Paul Walker.

"Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") release date has been set on April 3, 2015.
