‘Grimm’ Season 4 Recap: Is Adalind Back In Portland For Episode 4? Will Nick Want The Cure After Finding Out What The Final Ingredient Is?

Nov 18, 2014 01:56 PM EST | By Paige Lee

Elizabeth can finally recreate Adalind's spell but Nick won't like the last ingredient.  Meanwhile, Nick, Hank, and Trubel face a killer that even a Grimm has no power over! Read on for the latest 'Grimm' season 4 recap!

After figuring out what Adalind's spell was, Elizabeth finally figured out how to cure Nick from his Grimm-less state. The problem is, Nick won't like the final ingredient to the cure. Rosalee and Monroe leave her with the potion overnight but the next day, they find Adalind there instead!

Before Monroe could rip her face off, Rosalee figured out that it was just Elizabeth... with Adalind's face.

Captain Renard's mother may have been successful in remaking the potion but reversing it, on the other hand, is totally different ball game.

It turns out, Juliette is the final ingredient to the cure but we still don't know what she will have to do yet. Whatever it is, though, it's won't surely be pretty.

Nick can't afford to think about whether he wants to be cured or not. With his "magical, horrible connection" with Adalind, he could be in danger, too, since the Hexenbiest has found herself in quite a pickle back in Vienna.

Adalind, although helped out by the weird-looking man, manages to awaken some faces on the castle walls. As they cry, Adalind finds herself trapped in the stairwell which quickly fills up with their tears. Is this the scene that Claire Coffee (who plays Adalind) said Adalind haters will rejoice over?

Question is, will her situation affect Nick again? In past episodes, as discussed in 'Grimm' season 4 recaps, Nick experienced the connection with Adalind through intense pain. Will he also feel Adalind's anguish?

Meanwhile, the newly formed crime-fighting trio - Nick, Hank, and Trubel - face a foe that they have never seen before. They come face to face with a Jewish legend - a Golem.

In Jewish fokelore, a Golem, made of clay, is raised to protect those who can't defend themselves. This particular creature, however, went as far as hurting every single person who somehow makes the boy it's protecting uncomfortable. Even (former Grimm) Nick and Trubel couldn't take it down. The only way the Golem vanquished itself was when the boy himself fought it back.

Despite all the action, Nick still doesn't have his powers back. Producers were serious about keeping him powerless for an extended period of time. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.
