A few weeks after the announcement of their engagement, 'Sherlock' star Benedict Cumberbatch appears on the red carpet with soon-to-be-wife in tow, Sophie Hunter. The English actor also gets Jimmy Fallon to say the word "booty" in his own show.

'Sherlock' star Benedict Cumberbatch appeared with fiancée director Sophie Hunter early this week during the premier of Benedict Cumberbatch's "The Imitation Game" in New York.

The Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter love story rumors began early this year, with photos while watching tennis matches and fleeing to the other person's hometown. While most stories were initially speculated, adding one information from the other, the couple finally confirmed the rumored relationship during a discreet post in the Times.

The post said under "Forthcoming Marriages": "Mr. B.T. Cumberbatch and Miss S.I. Hunter: The engagement is announced between Benedict, son of Wanda and Timothy Cumberbatch of London, and Sophie, daughter of Katharine Hunter of Edinburgh and Charles Hunter of London."

While this announcement gathered broken-hearted Tweets, Facebook statues and onto other social media communities worldwide, fans of Benedict Cumberbatch seem to be accepting towards the relationship the "Sherlock" star has with director Sophie Hunter.

People reports how Benedict Cumberbatch reacted to those who professed their pain during his engagement with Sophie Hunter. The "Sherlock" actors shares, "Fine in the sense that I made one person's heart, the most important person's, happy."
