Xiaomi will hold its 12th flash sale of top seller Redmi 1S in India on November 25! Many speculated that the 11th flash sale last November 18 was the last time the Indian market would be able to grab hold of the mid-range smartphone Redmi 1S in order to make way for the much-anticipated Redmi Note. But Xiaomi must have another strategy in mind so it recently announced that it will have another round next week.

The company did not disclose how many Redmi 1S units will be released this time around but we are guessing it will be the same as the last 2 sales, in which the brand released 65,000 units of their top seller device. The Chinese tech giant is no longer announcing how long it took for all their Redmi 1S units to be out of stock, but it always confirms that all of it were sold out in every flash sale.

More than being an economical phone which costs only USD100 (£60; Rs5,999), the device has great features that include 4.7in IPS display, runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating platform, and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with a 1GB RAM. Redmi 1S also showcases an 8MP primary camera and a 1.6MP secondary camera. The device also provides users of an 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via an external microSD card. Moreover, A 2,000 mAh battery powers the entire Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphone.

Meanwhile, reports said that anticipation from prospective buyers of Redmi Note are building up, especially when a post from Xiaomi Vice President for International Relations Hugo Barra on Xiaomi's official Facebook page circulated over the net which read, "Mi Indonesia: 10,000 Redmi Note out of stock in under 40 secs today! Redmi Note coming to India next."
