‘The Last Witch Hunter’ Sneak Peek: Vin Diesel Posts New Photo; Upcoming Movie Slated for October 2015 Release

Making the most of his well-followed social media account, Vin Diesel posted new images of his Dom from the upcoming "The Last Witch Hunter" film.

Along with an image of his "The Fast and The Furious 7" new look as he reprised the role of Dom Toretto, the 47-year old actor posted a new photo of his role, Kaulder, for "The Last Witch Hunter" that is slated for October 2015 release date.

Diesel captioned the image, "The more we film, the more I think you will enjoy this movie. Kaulder is a very unique and interesting character, who has lived for centuries with one foot in reality and the other in the realm of magic."

The multi-awarded actor and film maker, who has more than 85 million followers in his Facebook account, has been posting image teaser for his anticipating fans. Diesel does this for both "The Fast and the Furious" seventh installment and the upcoming adventure and action film, "The Last Witch Hunter."

Lionsgate "The Last Witch Hunter" tells the story of Kaulder, an immortal warrior who has been hunting witches for thousands of years. Diesel's character then arrived to the present New York City "to stop the covens of New York from unleashin terrible plague upon humankind."

Joining Vin Diesel were Rose Leslie of "Game of Thrones" who will portray as a young sorceress who will be Kaulder's partner and ally in eliminating witches. Also included in "The Last Witch Hunter" casts are Elijah Wood, Michael Caine, and "A Walk among the Tombstones" Olafur Darri Olaffson.

It took Lionsgate a while before coming up with a definite premiere date for its newest fictional film. The Oct. 23, 2015 is in fact set after New Line Cinema removed the "Conjuring 2" from the said date. Because of this, "The Last Witch Hunter's" competitors are "Jem and the Holograms" and another horror film which has no title yet.

"The Last Witch Hunter" is directed by Breck Eisner and penned by Cory Goodman and Melissa Wallack. With the success of Diesel's last movie "Riddick," fans and producers expects good box office performance for the upcoming film.
