Lindsay Lohan news announced that her project, "Speed The Plow", closed following its two-month West End run. According to a report from Daily Mail, the actress is ready to return to New York to revive her movie career.
The movie turned stage actress appeared to be happy during the final night of the said David Mamet production. She even gamely posed with fans who were gathered outside London's Playhouse Theatre.
Thanking fans via Instagram, the 28-year-old posted: "Thank you #speedtheplow #ThePlayhouseTheatre crew and staff thank you #davidmamet #lindsayposner and @lavishalice @speedtheplow @nigellindsay1 @richard_schiff".
Referring to David Mamet's previous West End hit Oleanna, the former child star added: "And so it is. ONE MAMET DOWN!!! Next stop. 1 year #OLEANNA #lindsayposner #davidmamet thank you all for your support."
According to earlier Lindsay Lohan news from Daily Mail, the actress also thanked Oprah for her support in her stage endeavor. She posted: "Bless (and) thank you @oprah for being a part of this process and happiness."

The Radar Online report detailed: "Lindsay plans to return home to her family in New York for a bit and is then heading to L.A. because she has three big movies that she is getting ready to star in."
Lindsay Lohan has been based in London for months, where she starred as Hollywood receptionist Karen in "Speed The Plow". While some are worried that returning to New York might make the former child star relapse from her drug and alcohol problems, a source claiming to be a close friend of the actress said: "She is still sober and we are all very supportive... We always will be."
"She has allowed all of her old friends back into her life," the insider added.
