There is no Vikings Season 3 release date yet, just a one-minute 52-second trailer. Still that is enough for fans to feel the excitement for the return of the History Channel original series. As for the men behind it, they are not only excited for the Viking premiere, they are also juiced up for its fourth season.

Yes, you read that right. Vikings Season 4 could be underway now. In fact, the show already has plans for it. In a report by the Independent, series producer Morgan O'Sullivan was quoted as saying that they are ready to take the challenges that season four beholds. He said this after tackling what awaits Travis Fimmel's Ragnar Lothbrok in Vikings Season 3.

"It was kind of more challenging this year when compared to other years - everything was bigger in terms of scale and size. We had to construct a huge build of Paris, as the Vikings attack Paris in this season and that was tough work," he said without saying anything about Vikings Season 3 release date.

"But every year we are trying to get bigger and better to compete with what's out there, and this shoot went exceedingly well. We are all very chuffed with it - bring on season four."

In earlier Vikings Season 3 spoilers, it is revealed that new season will see higher arc for characters other than Ragnar and his brother Rollo (Clive Standen).

"It's only going to get grittier, and I think that's why fans are absolutely in love with it right now," said Alexander Ludwig, who plays Ragnar's son Bjorn in the series.

Series creator Michael Hirst also confirmed that Vikings Season 3 will see Ragnar's team explore richer lands.

"Yeah, we're gonna attack Paris. Paris was the most extraordinary city. It was still a Roman city, and it was like nothing else on earth. We're just building that, at the moment, on the backlot. It will also be CGI. Ragnar attacked Paris with one hundred ships," he said in the interview with Collider.
