The newest Dickey's fast-food restaurant is set to open in the town of Celina, TX., this week, and to celebration the grand opening, will be giving away free pulled pork big barbeque sandwiches to the first 100 customers who arrive at the chain this Friday.

The new location will be found at 2750 S. Preston Rd., in the shopping center at the entrance to Carter Ranch, said a press release issued by Dickey's Barbecue on Thursday. The store is opened seven days a week from 11:00am - 9:00pm.

"Barbecue is a special type of food. There's a sense of community with barbecue," franchise owner Phil Lezar said for the press release. "I am happy to be bringing our authentic food, excellent customer service and family friendly atmosphere to Celina."

This will be the first Dickey's chain Lezar opened in the city of Celina, noted the press release, something he is rather excited about.

"We are thrilled to welcome Phil in to the Dickey's Barbecue Restaurant family," Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc., was quoted as stating for the press release. "He is a dedicated and enthusiastic owner and he will be a great addition to the Celina community."

Dickey's Barbecue opened in 1941, said the press release, in the major city of Dallas, and after 70 years in business, has been touted as the largest barbecue fast-food chain in the world. More than 230 Dickey's stores can be found in over 43 states across the country. The motto for the franchise is "Passionate about the Art of Great Barbecue."

A special offer given by Dickey's is free kids meals on Sundays, noted the press release, as well as affordable family food meals and packs for lunch and dinner. The packs usually contain a choice of two meats, three medium sides, six rolls, and Dickey's barbecue sauce, listed the press release.
