OnePlus One Vs Xiaomi Mi4: Which Chinese Manufactured Phone Kills All The Flagships? Design, Specs And Features Compared!

OnePlus and Xiaomi surprisingly managed to be a tough competitor in the Android market, with its affordable price tag and high-end features.

Unfortunately, these two phones is not available worldwide. Xiaomi Mi4 is only available in various Asian countries, while the OnePlus One can be bought with invite only.

Xiaomi Mi4 Vs OnePlus One: which of thiese phones  is truly a "flagship killer"?

Design and Screen

The OnePlus One sports a 5.5-inch LTPS LCD capacitive touch screen with  1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It has the dimensions of  152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm, and weighs at 162g.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi4  has a smaller screen of Xiaomi Mi4 5-inch Full HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution.

Hardware and OS

Under the hood, both phones share the same quad core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked speed of 2.5Ghz and supported by a 3GB of RAM. They run in Android

 Both offers a 16GB and 64GB of internal storage and does not supported external memory expansion.

Xioami Mi4 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the newest MIUI 6 out of the box, while the Samsung Galaxy

Camera

Xiaomi Mi4 sports a 13MP rear camera with and Sony Exmor IMX214 rear snapper and 8MP Sony Exmor IMX219 front camera.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus One  sports the same rear camera as the Xiaomi Mi4 with f/2.0 aperture.

Battery and Price

OnePlus One is now available for purchase without an invite. According to its website the 16GB variant costs around $299 and $349 for the 32GB variant.

It was also cited on its website, "One's 3100 mAh battery fits perfectly into the sleek body. The energy efficient display features CABC and DRAM (Display RAM) technology that adjust the level of backlight and differentiate between dynamic and static content on your screen. These technologies reduce the power consumed and allow you to run all your apps and data services, all day long."

On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi4 16GB retailed in China for an approximately $320, and 64GB s for $405.

In a review of Android Headlines  "Xiaomi Mi4 can last up to 18 hours of usage that include: "Nearly 5 hours of on screen display, over an hour and a half of talk time, streaming music to a bluetooth speaker for nearly 8 hours and even an hour of using my GPS via Runtastic." with 12% remaining battery life."
