Protecting and fighting for loved ones is the main theme of ABC series Revenge. Over the course of four seasons, family is what makes show's protagonists Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp) and Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) tick. In the last Revenge Season 4 episode, one major character died. Daniel Grayson, played by Josh Bowman, was killed off as he was trying to save former wife Emily against an agent of Malcolm Black.

The episode was cut until the scene where Daniel is grasping for breath so in the next Revenge Season 4 episode, fans will see how would Victoria react. The Grayson family will surely mourn the loss of Daniel. However, on that day, one member will be missing.

According to a scoop from E! Online, Christa B. Allen's Charlotte, Daniel's half-sister will be absent in the burial ceremony for his brother. Before the events in the Revenge Season 4 episode 10, Charlotte left the side of her mother to be on her own. It seems that it will be like that until further notice based on this spoiler from the entertainment website.

"Not hopping on the Jitney for Daniel's funeral? "Charlotte may not be back for Daniel's funeral, but she's someone we keep talking about and if we can figure out the right way to bring her in, we'll certainly talk about having her back," Nayar spills," E! Online wrote when a fans asked for Revenge Season 4 spoiler.

Emily Thorne will definitely mourn the death of Daniel, too, especially with the fact that he gave up his life for her. That phase might not be that difficult for her though as she will find comfort in Brian Hallisay's Ben Hunter. According to the same post from E! Online, the next Revenge Season 4 episodes will see the police partner of Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler) take things into a higher level with Emily.

"I think you're going to start to see the real connection between [Ben] and Emily," showrunner Sunil Nayar reveals. "There's a kindness he feels towards Emily and kinship we're going to step on more," And the cop isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Says Nayar: "We love him, we're keeping him."
