The recent leaked Sony emails have shared a glimpse into the top-secret plans for upcoming movie sequels like "Spectre" and "23 Jump Street", with the latter revealing a crossover with an intergalactic police force knows as the "Men In Black". Spoilers of Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum's upcoming movie revealed?

The end credits in "22 Jump Street" may have indicated that "23 Jump Street" happens as Johan Hill's Schmidt and Channing Tatum's Jenko returns to take on a medical degree but this is not the case according to recent revelations.

As a result of leaked emails reportedly by hacking Sony, "23 Jump Street" developments are shown to crossover with an out-of-this-world police force movie franchise known as "Men In Black".

Starring Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, "Men In Black" was first released in 1997 and gained positive feedback from fans and critics alike. While it took a decade before the third installment was released in 2012, the fourth installment is said to be in the works especially following the Sony email leak incident.

The contents of the leaked email reveals that "23 Jump Street" is indeed in development however, Sony is combining it with "Men In Black". Although the plot remains unclear, reports say that details of the leaked email show that "Men In Black" leads Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith will not be part of the crossover.

Indicated in the same email, as producers consider "23 Jump Street" among the top priorities and though there isn't a script ready yet, the movie is said to have a 2016 or 2017 release date.

In an earlier interview with "22 Jump Street" star Channing Tatum, the actor was asked about the end credits of "22 Jump Street" where he was asked if indeed "23 Jump Street" will be about Schmidt and Jenko's medical school.

Talking to USA Today, Channing Tatum shares his thoughts about "23 Jump Street": "I feel like that would be a cop-out, College was the obvious next step for us. We had to go there. I don't know what the next step is after college. Do we go and take down Enron? Or the government in D.C.? I feel like it's all redundant."

"23 Jump Street" release date has yet to be finalized but is said to be either in 2016 or 2017. Stay tuned for more "23 Jump Street" news and updates including release date here!
