Sony Hacking Crisis: Major Theaters Turned Their Back On The Interview Movie Leading To Massive Move By Sony Pictures

The Sony Pictures has pulled out 'The Interview' from all theaters. This is after major cinema chains decided to cancel the screening of the comedy film that stars James Franco and Seth Rogen, set on Christmas day after getting threats from hackers behind the Amid the Sony hack attack. A couple of days ago, Guardians of Peace, who credits themselves of the breach in computers inside one of the world's most prestigious entertainment companies, threatened that they will attack cinemas that will screen the controversial comedy film, attack that will be similar to the 9/11 bombing.

Guardians of Peace sent a note that reads:

"We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places "The Interview" be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to.

Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made.

The world will be full of fear.

Remember the 11th of September 2001.

We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time."

The ongoing Sony hacking crisis is allegedly rooting from the studios upcoming film 'The Interview.' According to initial theories, the leaking of five upcoming movies from Sony, the releasing of 'racist' and 'discriminatory' email exchange between top Sony Pictures executives were executed by North Korea, the country who protests The Interview because it is insulting their leader Kim Jong-un. However, investigators have ruled out such theory saying the Sony Hacking crisis might be an inside job and not from the Asian country.

The Sony hacking threats have probably shaken major theaters in the United States as a score of them decided to cancel their screening schedule for 'The Interview' movie. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, National Association of Theater Owners said that "individual cinema operators may decide to delay exhibition of the movie so that our guests may enjoy a safe holiday movie season."

Bow Tie Cinema was among those who cancelled 'The Interview' release amid the Sony hack crisis and threats. Bow Tie said they have " decided after careful consideration not to open The Interview on December 25, 2014 as originally planned. We hope that those responsible for this act are swiftly identified and brought to justice."

Among the theaters that will not show 'The Interview' are from the Empire State, the Old Dominion, Colorado and Connecticut."
