Another Tim Burton-produced film is promised to fans worldwide and this takes with it the original cast members lead by Johnny Depp. Release date has been set, with other details including "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass" plot details and other news unleashed.

After the success of "Alice in Wonderland" in 2010, Tim Burton brings back the sequel titled "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass", this time to be directed by "Muppets Most Wanted" (2014) director James Bobin. While fans worldwide have been going on and on about details of the upcoming "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass", here's what's available so far.

"Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass" release date has been set for May 27, 2016, according to Walt Disney Pictures.

Upon the release date, fans will get reunited with Johnny Depps' Madhatter, Helena Bonham Carter's the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway's the White Queen, and of course Mia Wasikowska's Alice Kingsleigh. New cast members joining "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass" include Sacha Baron Cohen who will play the villain in the sequel, portraying Time; and Rhys Ifans as Mad Hatter's father, Zanik Hightopp.

In a recent interview with MTV, Tim Burton shares his thoughts about "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass" production. He says, "It's still on its early days. But it's had a lot of the same characters with new stuff in it too. The thing with movies like that... its like a weird experiment-see what bubbles to the top. James Bobin's directing it, I was excited by him and what he might bring into it. And with some of the old characters and new characters, you know. I'm excited."

Other voice cast members returning upon "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass" release date also includes Stephen Fry, Toby Jones, Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Paul Whitehouse, Barbara Windor and John Sessions.
