Sylvester Stallone has reportedly hired a private investigator to find out what led to the tragic death of his son Sage Moonblood last Friday.
The action star has hired famous private investigator Scott Ross to look into all the events that occurred prior to his 36-year-old filmmaker son prior to his death, according to TMZ. Sage's body was found in his Hollywood Hills apartment last Friday, surrounded by "huge" empty prescription pill bottles and cans. His mother, Sasha Czak, believes that he may have died from an overdose of pain prescription medicine after he underwent a series of dental procedures.
Scott Ross, was the lead investigator in the Michael Jackson molestation case and the 2009 battery case involving Chris Brown and Rihanna. According to the report, Sylvester Stallone, his brother Frank Stallone, and an official from the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office met with Ross Tuesday.
Earlier today, law enforcement said detectives found "several little baggies in the bedroom." The white powder will be tested but it is so far believed to be either cocaine or crushed Vicodin. There was also a large quantity of empty prescription bottles in Sage's bedroom, "more than 60 gigantic bottles, like the ones in pharmacies," the report said.
Although an autopsy was completed Sunday, it will take four to six weeks for results to be revealed. The Los Angeles coroner did separately confirm that pill bottles were recovered from the 36-year-old film-makers's Hollywood home.

Sage Moonblood Stallone was the oldest of Sylvester Stallone's children and appeared with his father in two films. He made his acting debut in 1990's "Rocky V," and also appeared with his father in 1996's "Daylight."
