Arrested?! ‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Dustin Diamond Into Custody For Reckless Endangerment And Possession Of A Weapon!

Saved by the bell? Not this time! In the early hours after Christmas Day, Dustin Diamond was arrested by the local police in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.

On Friday morning, Dec. 26, it was confirmed that the 37-year-old "Saved by the Bell" alum was arrested and taken into custody by the Port Washington Police Department.

TMZ reports that the star is facing charges of first degree reckless endangerment, possession of a switchblade, and carrying a concealed weapon. It was also reported that Diamon allegedly endangered the life of an anonymous victim and was given $1,000 bail.

The former child star will appear in court at 1:30 p.m. local time. On the day of his arrest, a statement was released by the police force that read, "At approximately 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 25, 2014, the Port Washington Police Department responded to the Grand Ave. Saloon for reports of a stabbing. Evidence quickly gathered at the scene indicates a male, age 37, had stabbed another male patron and left the bar in a white SUV with his 27-year-old girlfriend. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and suspects and took both into custody."

"Further investigation revealed the suspects were in the Grand Ave Saloon where an altercation took place," the statement went on. "The altercation escalated to the point where a victim was stabbed by the 37-year-old suspect. The knife was recovered in his vehicle. The male suspect is still at the Ozaukee County Jail and the female suspect has been booked and released... Requested charges include, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Switch Blade Knife, and First Degree Recklessly endangering Safety. Charges of Disorderly Conduct were requested on the female suspect... The male suspect will appear in front of Ozaukee County Courts this afternoon. The victim suffered not life threatening wounds, has been treated, and is recovering at home."

Diamond started his acting career in 1987 but gained popularity in 1990's when he played the role of Samuel "Screech" Powers in the American sitcom "Saved by the Bell". He continued his career in acting by making appearances in films such as 2002's "Big Fat Liar" and 2005's "13th Grade", before he made his famous expedition into the world of adult film in 2006.

The past few years, Diamond went into a venture of reality TV with "Celebrity Fit Club" and "Celebrity Big Brother", and the 2009 confession entitled "Behind the Bell", where the show revealed alleged drug use, partying, and scandals done by the cast of "Saved by the Bell".
