Buzzard 2 – A Traveler’s New Bestfriend

Dec 29, 2014 09:38 AM EST | By Adelyn Torralba

Many of us love to travel, especially during the holiday season. Some of us travel alone, while many others are with their families. If you are one of these individuals, then you know how boring and frustrating it can be if you are on the road for a long time. This is particularly true if you are the driver, who needs to stay alert and focused on the road. Driving for long hours at a time can get tiring, especially if your kids are always asking "are we there yet?"

This is where Buzzard 2 enters the picture. If this is the first time you have read of it, you should know that the first version of the device is classified as a "plug-and-play MiFi," as described by Engadget.

The original version, which cost £49.99, was specifically made for automobiles and was made available to consumers back in April of this year. It was comprised of two different parts though, something that a lot of consumers did not really like as it made storing and plugging in during a trip hassling.

Fortunately, the company behind its development, EE, decided to fix this issue and came up with Buzzard 2. It works similarly to its predecessor, wherein all you need to do is to plug the device into the dashboard of your car and your mobile device, plus nine other more, can already get connected to the Internet.

Buzzard 2 has a few things more to offer than the first version. According to Tech Radar, the latest model is equipped with a better lighting system so users no longer have to fumble around trying to make it work. You can also connect your device and charge it while it is being used, thanks to the USB charger that comes along with the package.

The latest MiFi version from EE costs £79.99 though, which means that it is £30.00 more expensive than the first one.
