Lindsay Lohan news reported that the "Speed The Plow" actress has a new sibling. According to Lindsay Lohan news from Us Weekly, her father. Michael Lohan, welcomed a new baby with his second wife, Kate Major.

Lindsay Lohan's stepbrother was born last New Year's Eve. He is the second child of Michael Lohan and Kate Major, who already share a one-year old son, Landon.

Lindsay Lohan's father gushed about the new baby. Michael Lohan said: "Kate and I are ecstatic!"

"A bit late for Christmas but the best gift imaginable," he added.

Michael Lohan continued:  "What a way to bring in the new year! God has blessed me with the best children a father could ever ask for -- but I'm done!"

The controversial celebrity father was married to Dina Lohan, who managed the career of the "Mean Girls" star. Aside from Lindsay Lohan, their other kids are Ali (21), Michael Jr (27), and Cody (18).

Lindsay Lohan's parents divorced amid her highly publicized drug and alcohol problems. Michael Lohan then remarried  wed last October at an intimate ceremony in Florida.

"It was a beautiful, small ceremony and reception afterward," an insider told Us Weekly about Michael Lohan and Kate Major's wedding.

"Kate and Michael purposely wanted it private as they await the arrival of their second child together," the source added.

Lindsay Lohan's 32-year-old stepmom is only four years older than her, making some wonder if she gets along well with the popular movie star. Lindsay Lohan has yet to comment on the news about the newest addition to their extended family.

The "Mean Girls" actress is currently based in London, where she starred in a West End play entitled "Speed The Plow". In a recent report from The Guardian, Lindsay Lohan clarified the news about how she is feeling so homesick and yearning to return to the US.

"I won't live in L.A. again, hell no," the former child star clarified.

"I needed to grow up, and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else," Lindsay Lohan told the news publication.
