The Yorkville Endoscopy anesthesiologist, named Renuka Reddy Bankulla, was identified as the third doctor responsible for the failed operation. It was late August when the TV icon came had a regular throat procedure at the said outpatient clinic at the Upper East Side of New York.

The 47-year-old anesthesiologist was with Yorkville Endoscopy medical director Lawrence Cohen and celebrity ear, nose and throat specialist Gwen Korovin.

Page Six  consulted LA-based anesthesiologist Dr. Karen Sibert , who explained how Renuka Reddy Bankulla could have prevented Joan Rivers' eventual death. She said: "An anesthesiologist is supposed to vigilantly watch the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and other vital signs."

"Renuka Reddy Bankulla should have intervened promptly," Dr. Karen Sibert added, referring to the point in the operation wherein Joan Rivers' heart rate and pulse suddenly dropped. 9+

In order to avoid Joan Rivers news reporters from Page Six , Renuka Reddy Bankulla allegedly "jumped at her car and left" her home in Scarsdale.

The anesthesiologists' lawyer, Bruce Brady, said: "Neither Dr. Bankulla nor I have any comment on this subject.

A federal report revealed: "Renuka Reddy Bankulla was advised by counsel not to discuss the case at this time."

Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers, has not yet commented about the revealed identity of the anesthesiologist, who is the third doctor involved in her mother's fatal operation. The comedienne's only child and heir to her hefty estate is reportedly working on a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Yorkville Endoscopy.
