"House of Cards" Season 3 nears its February release date, and Netflix has unleashed the political drama series' official trailer revealing a tough Frank Underwood and an even tougher first lady.
The "House of Cards" season 3 official trailer showcases the perils that Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood will go through come release date. Apart from Frank Underwood's conflict with his wife, Clair Underwood played by Robin Wright, the newly installed President will deal with deceit, betrayal and possibly face the charges for the crimes he committed during the first and second season of "House of Cards".
In the first official trailer, clips of the upcoming "House of Cards" season 3 is revealed to fans worldwide. Frank Underwood narrates, "You wanna know what takes real courage, holding it all together when the stakes are this high."
During "House of Cards" season 2, fans are left with numerous questions that seem to be slightly answered in the official trailer. In season 2 for instance, Claire broke down and though this may be a sign of weakness for the First Lady, her confrontation with Frank Underwood towards the end of the trailer reveal that the husband-and-wife team will regroup and become stronger in season 3.
Following numerous rumors on "House of Cards" season 3 being the final season for the Netflix series, the newly released trailer also gives hope to fans awaiting the renewal of "House of Cards" season 4.
According to early news, as Frank Underwood has become President by season 2, his fall from presidency is inevitable come "House of Cards" season 3. Thus, making for an impossible "House of Cards" season 4 plot since there would be nowhere else to go after he loses his grip as Head of State. However, seeing "House of Cards" season 3 trailer reveal a stronger, more focused President Frank Underwood, it seems as though there is still a chance for the favorite politician.
