Guillermo del Toro's dark romance movie has been generating buzz lately, after news surface that Tom Hiddleston will be involved in a sex scene somewhere in the film. As "Crimson Peak" release date nears, more details bubble up.
Co-star Jessica Chastain shares with MTV News the details about the upcoming "Crimson Peak." She said, "Well, there is a Tom Hiddleston sex scene, boys! I know! So you guys. Not gonna say who, but there is some, you know. You can calm down".
It isn't clear which character Tom Hiddleston shares this sex scene with, and actor Jessica Chastain just made the Internet burst with this statement.
Tom Hiddleston portrays Sir Thomas Sharpe, the husband to Jessica Chastain's Lady Lucille Sharpe. Other cast members of "Crimson Peak" include Mia Wasikowska, Charlie Hunnam, Jim Beaver, Leslie Hope, Burn Gorman and Doug Jones.
Director Guillermo del Toro talked about "Crimson Peak" early on during development and shared bits about his movie and what fans should expect come Oct. 16 release date.
In an interview with STYD, he said "Crimson Peak is a much, much, much smaller movie, completely character-driven. It's an adult movie, an R-rated movie, pretty adult. Shockingly different from anything I've done in the English language. Normally, when I go to do a movie in America for the spectacle and younger audience, for Blade of whatever. This movie's tone is scary and it's the first time I get to do a movie akin to what I do in the Spanish movies."
He continued and said, "[Crimson Peak] has moments that are very visceral, physical violence. You're in this sort of sedate romance and then there is this brutal moment when you're like, 'Whoa!' And it has a lot of kinky moments. The only kinky moment I've shot is [in] 'The Devil's Backbone'. This has a little more kinkiness than that."
"Crimson Peak" release date is on Oct. 16.
