Finally, the feud is over!
After countless "no comments" in interviews about each other, it seems like the feud between "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston and "Unbroken" director Angelina Jolie has finally ended.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer Aniston apparently set the rumors straight, revealing that the years of hostility between ex-husband Brad Pitt's current wife is finally over.
Jennifer Aniston said, "I think that's slowly coming to an end. I really do... It's just tiresome and old. It's like an old leather shoe. Let's buy a new pair of shiny shoes."
She even shared her thoughts about the film "Unbroken" which was directed by Angelina Jolie. She said in the same interview, "I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job. I think that it's time people stop with that pretty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the pretty kind of silliness."
The feud between the former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston and "Unbroken" director Angelina Jolie began after Aniston's divorce to then-husband Brad Pitt was said to have been a result of a third party. The third part in question was rumored to be Angelina Jolie, after she has worked with Brad Pitt in the 2005 film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."
Brad Pitt later clarified that Angelina Jolie wasn't involved or the reason for his breakup with Jennifer Aniston. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now married with kids, and Jennifer Aniston is now dating Justin Theroux.
Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken" is "an epic drama that follows the incredible life of olympian and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini (Jack O'Connell) who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII - only to be caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp", according to the official synopsis.
