‘Fashion Police’ New Host Brad Goreski Replaces George Kotsiopoulos; Former Mainstay Speaks Up About Not Being Included In New Season After Joan Rivers’ Death

"Fashion Police's" new host, Brad Goreski, officially replaced George Kotsiopoulos when the show returned last January 12. According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, the ex-mainstay has spoken up about not being included in the new season after Joan Rivers' death.

The celebrity stylist was a "Fashion Police" host for four years. He worked closely with the late comedienne until her death last September 4. The show returned after a four-month hiatus following Joan Rivers' death in time for the red carpet review of the Golden Globe Awards 2015.

Joan Rivers' vacated spot was filled in by comedienne Kathy Griffin. Other "Fashion Police" hosts, namely Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic, are still part of the show.

When asked during the pre-Golden Globes bash at Chateau Marmont about being replaced by Brad Goreski, George Kotsiopoulos opted to just be grateful for having been part of the hit E! series. Aside from being a "Fashion Police" host, he also recognized Joan Rivers.

"Look, I had four incredible years with Joan Rivers, and it changed my life" George Kotsiopoulos said.

Hollywood Life reported how "Fashion Police" hosts kicked off the new season by recognizing Joan Rivers. The TV icon passed away after a week-long coma from a botched throat procedure at a New York Upper East Side clinic named Yorkville Endoscopy.

"Before I start making more enemies and burning more bridges, I just want to thank my good friend whom we all miss, Joan Rivers," said new "Fashion Police" host Kathy Griffin.

"Of course, Joan, I know you're watching from heaven but don't get it twisted. I will not be afraid to bring the hammer down on anyone and everyone."

"I learned from the best," the late comedienne's protégé added. The other "Fashion Police" hosts and people from the studio applauded.

Kathy Griffin previously told People that she is aware of how Joan Rivers practically shaped the hit E! TV show.

"I hope to at least continue in her fearless spirit because that's really what I think the show demands and I think it's what the viewers want," the 54-year-old comedienne said.
