Mandy Moore And Ryan Adams has announced their split. The 30-year-old "Tangled" singer has filed a divorce against Ryan Adams before their sixth wedding anniversary, but the former couple insists the split is "amicable."

"Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost six years," reps of the musicians said in a joint statement to The Daily Mail.

"It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time."

The singer-actress filed her divorce petition in Los Angeles on Friday while her estranged husband was in New York, citing irreconcilable differences, RadarOnline.com first reported.  Mandy is also reportedly asking for spousal support and said "the date of their separation was to be determined."

The "A Walk To Remember" star was not wearing her wedding ring in a photo that she posted on Instagram last month and the split came a few months after Adam released his self-titled album, he collaborated with wife, Daily Mail reported.

"So proud of @theryanadams on his brilliant new record. Yah, I'm biased but it's a must-listen," Moore posted on Twitter on Sept. 9.

Moreover, Moore has also announced that she has been working on her seventh studio album with the help of Ryan.

"Life, life is inspiring what I'm writing about and I don't know exactly what it's going to sound like quiet yet," she told E! News at the "Red Band Society" premiere in November.

"But...I'm going to work with my husband on it and make it at his studio so his influence will be all over it," the singer-song writer added.

Moore, 30, married Adams, 40, in Savannah, Ga., on March 10, 2009 four weeks after they announced their engagement.

The couple also celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with a party last March, according to People.com.

Meanwhile, Ryan Adams heated up in an interview last fall after being asked about Moore.

"I'm a private person and I'll be a gentleman and say I'm not talking about my marriage ever. I'll never talk about it. Ever," he said briefly.
