'The Flash' Episode Guide: Funniest And Darkest Hour Teased By EP Andrew Kreisberg, Along With Major Time Travel Plot

During the second "The Flash" "Arrow" crossover episode, it became clear how the world of Barry Allen is different from Oliver Queen's.

The world that the Scarlet Speedster is living in is somehow better than what the Emerald Archer is patrolling. Barry (Grant Gustin) and the rest of his crew were shocked by how Ollie (Stephen Amell) deal with the villain, like the use of torture. The show about the fastest man on earth thrives through its fun and light moments. However, according to a recent "The Flash" episode guide, that might change in the upcoming episodes.

In an interview with the Entertainment Weekly, "The Flash" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased the show is closing in on what could be its funniest but darkest hour to date.

Last night, the show aired its 12th episode titled "Crazy for You" which is something that is fun and romantic. However, as per Kreisberg, the upcoming episode (yet to be specified) will be more epic.

"There's an episode coming up where there is inadvertent connection to the Speed Force that results in probably our funniest hour as well as our darkest hour as the dangers of time travel come to light," Kreisberg told EW.

"It's a mashup between Back to the Future and Terminator-the good version of time travel and the bad version of time travel."

At the end of EW's "The Flash" episode guide, Kreisberg was quoted as saying that after that time travel episode, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will never be the same again.

According to Grant Gustin, his character won't be comfortable with his new ability. However, he and the other guys who know about his alter-ego will have fun about it.

"He's not handling it incredibly well. It's freaking him out a little bit," Gustin said.

"He realizes, 'Holy shit, this an opportunity to change things with my family's past,'" Gustin says. "He doesn't know yet to maybe not do that, but that's where Barry's at when he realizes what he's just learned that he can do, that he can maybe save his mom."

"The Flash" episode 13 titled "The Nuclear Man" will air on February 10.
