After more than a year of engagement, finally the "Black Mass" star and "Mortdecai" headliner Johnny Depp is set to marry Amber Heard this coming weekend on his private island. Daughter Lily-Rose' disapproval fall on deaf ears.
In a report by E! Online, "Pirates of the Caribbean" superstar Johnny Depp is over the moon, as his wedding date with "The Rum Diary" co-star and fiancée Amber Heard draws closer. According to a source of the Entertainment magazine, "He's completely in love and can't wait!"
Johnny Depp's private Bahamas island is set to be the venue where the couple will say their "I dos" after almost a three-year relationship. In 2012, Johnny Depp ended his 14-year relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children Lily-Rose (15 years old) and Jack (12 years old). It has been speculated that actress Amber Heard was the cause of the split.
The 28-year-old actress was first seen in "Friday Night Lights" in 2004. She also appeared in 2008 films "Never Back Down" and "Pineapple Express."
The couple reportedly selected the first weekend of February to fit their busy schedules. According to TheSpec, "She's filming a movie in London, and he's getting ready to film the next 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in Australia. So this is the only time that everyone could get together."
However, not everything is prepared and all set up for the big day. Apparently, Johnny Depp's eldest, Lily-Rose is not ready to give daddy away. According to a report by the National Enquirer, Lily-Rose does not approve of her future mom-to-be, and wants her parents to get back together.
The report said, "Johnny's caught between a rock and a hard place. Lily-Rose has never warmed to Amber. She's made it pretty obvious to her dad that she doesn't like her being around. She'd love nothing more than for them to split up! But Johnny's trying to make it work with Amber. He's promised her he'd quit boozing and clean up his act!"
