'Empire' TV Series Cast Lineup Will Never Include Diddy's Son; 'Bad Boy For Life' Singer Bans His Kid From Joining The Fox Show

More and more music royalties are joining the "Empire" TV series cast.

Recent reports revealed that Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora are set to join the musical drama and will play as themselves. The show is lead by Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson who both had careers in music.

Rumors also have it that the Lee Daniels and Danny Strong created show is courting female rapper Iggy Azalea for a guest role.

While some elite musicians sign up for guest roles in "Empire," veteran rapper, actor and producer P. Diddy reportedly, will no way allow his son, Quincy, to join the show after a fallout because of misunderstanding in the contract.

In a report by Page Six of the New York Post, it is revealed that P. Diddy, known in real life as Sean Combs, decided to ban his adopted and raised son Quincy, 23, to join the "Empire" TV series cast after the Fox show disagreed to change their rules in the music rights.

"Sources say Quincy was guaranteed a role on the show (Empire) about a family-run hip-hop record label starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, but Diddy hit the roof when he learned that his son would have to sign over a portion of his music rights in relation to the show to Fox," Page Six wrote.

The website also quoted a source about Diddy's reaction on the contract and how he tried to talk to the executives of the 20th Century Fox to change the premises of the music rights deal but to no avail.

"Diddy kicked up a huge stink and called all the top brass at 20th Century Fox TV to get them to change their rules over music rights," but he didn't get his way. "He said there was no way his son was signing over his intellectual property. So he banned him from the show."

While it seems there's no way P. Diddy will change his mind regarding his son's slot in the Fox show, sources say Lee Daniels is still considering Quincy for a spot in the "Empire" TV series cast.
