A romantic story filled with disturbing clowns, ghosts in the bathtub and moving walls-what else is there to ask for?

The first trailer for Guillermo del Toro's highly anticipated film has been unleashed nearing its 2015 release date. The gothic-romance mystery film stars Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska.

While bits and pieces of the dark fantasy film has been revealed by director and master-storyteller Guillermo del Toro over time, the trailer unleashes an incredible insight into the mind of del Toro. Haunting clown toys and moving paintings in walls are just among the many horrific yet artful scenes in "Crimson Peak."

"Crimson Peak" is a gothic romance movie that is written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, who is known for his dark fairy tales like "Pan's Labyrinth" (2006). Upon the release date, fans will experience a story that begins "in the aftermath of a family tragedy," the synopsis from IMDB reads.

"An aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds... and remembers."

The recently released trailer shows "a house that breathes, bleeds" and one that is horrifyingly beautiful. "Alice in Wonderland" star Mia Wasikowska portray the confused Edith Cushing, "Avengers: age of Ultron" actor Tom Hiddleston takes on the role of sir Thomas Sharpe who is Edith's husband.

"Sons of Anarchy" and "Pacific Rim" star Charlie Hunnam is Dr. Alan McMichael in the upcoming "Crimson Peak." He is a "quiet, shy, thoughtful kind of stoic, tacitum, very learned guy who is madly in love with the female hero," according to Collider.

According to reports and speculation, upon "Crimson Peak" release date, fans will experience more than the terrifyingly beautiful environment from Guillermo del Toro's imagination. Fans will experience a different kind of love triangle, one that involves mysterious but dashingly handsome men, who have secrets of their own.
