This year turned out to be very busy for the "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien as he has been generating buzz online. First on possibly taking on a superhero role for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as "Spider-Man," and also for the upcoming "Teen Wolf" season 5 and of course, the sequel to his box office hit, "The Maze Runner."
Recent reports on "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" reveal that filming, which began in 2014, has now been completed, with the reel in post-production. With all the final pieces coming together, it seems like "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" will meet its release date set for Sept. 18.
The young cast of "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" even posted on Twitter after wrapping up filming with a caption that said, "Wrap party for Scorch Trials! Can't believe we are almost done shooting. You will love this movie!"

Meanwhile, author of "The Maze Runner" James Dashner talks about his book and the upcoming "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials." On his official website, he updates his fans about the upcoming "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" film and shared, "There's not a lot I can say about things yet. I visited the set and I've read the script, and I'm happy with it," said Dashner.
"Some things may take you by surprise, but I can tell you this: the movie is going to kick b*tt. You will not be disappointed. We Ball [the director] is a friggin' genius and he has an amazing cast including some stellar newcomers."
James Dashner is an American speculative fiction writer and known for numerous series such as "The Jimmy Fincher Saga" (2003-2005) and "The 13th Reality Series" (2008-2012).
