"Pirates of the Caribbean 5," now titled "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," begins filming to meet its 2017 release date. New cast member Javier Bardem joins headliners Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Plot details revealed.
Filming has officially commenced in Queensland, Australia, bringing the entire cast and crew to the land down under. After going through script issues early during its development and even a delay in release date, finally "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" begins production.
With this announcement comes the official list of cast members. While Johnny Depp returns to portray the unforgettable Captain Jack Sparrow, other cast members are also coming back to "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales." Among them are Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa, Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, and Orlando Bloom as Will Turner.
