She may be playing a Disney princess soon but she's still a regular celebrity in real life. Emma Watson and Prince Harry's dating rumors were shot down by the "Harry Potter" alum herself through a witty and totally feminist message on Twitter about the issue.
"WORLD (heart emoji)," the Brown University graduate tweeted in response to the rumors. "Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!"
In true feminist fashion, the British actress followed that post up with a video of Alfonso Cuaron's 1995 movie, "A Little Princess."
The clip shows Sarah Crew making a little speech about all little girls being princesses in their own right, no matter their situation in life.
"Also..... marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a Princess," Watson captioned the video.
The Emma Watson and Prince Harry dating rumors started when Australian website Women's Day reported that the pair allegedly went on "secret dates."
Prince Charles' second son supposedly made an effort to contact the beautiful and smart brunette after hearing about her breakup with rugby player Matthew Janney.
He reportedly was "smitten - and it's more than Emma's looks."
Despite the rather random pairing, fans of both celebs took to Twitter and Facebook to express their excitement over the report. Several were hoping for it to be true and some were in just utter disbelief of the whole thing.
Many followers supported the pairing especially since both of them share a passion for charities and spreading some good into the world.
Prince Harry established his own charity for children and has been working with UNICEF to help impoverished around the world.
Watson, on the other hand, is the UN Ambassador for Women. She has also launched the HeForShe campaign to help spread equality among both men and women all over the world.
