Two-faced cat video is getting a lot of attention after appearing on the Today show with its owner on Thursday morning and is even rumored to be appearing soon in a Lady Gaga music video.
Venus, a striking-looking cat with one side of her face is black with a green eye, and one side is calico with a blue eye. The two-faced cat has warmed hearts as her pictures go viral on Reddit, Facebook and in a YouTube video with more than 600,000 views.
"We've heard everything from Photoshop to we've dyed half of her face,'' owner Christina said. "This is just the way she was born, that's it.''
The cat, who started out life as a feral farm cat, has since been adopted by Christina and her husband, Chris, and has become the star of viral photos that garnered over a million views on Reddit. Christina and Chris actually sought out the cat after hearing about its face and being curious about it. The former owner was happy that the cat was going to a good home.
Her somewhat shocking features are more than likely the result of being a chimera cat, which is "composed of two populations of genetically distinct cells that originated from different zygotes".
The two-faced cat is so unique and interesting that the pop Queen of all thins unusual, Lady Gaga, is rumored to want Venus to star in her next music video.
