Does Austin Mahone finally have a new girlfriend after parting ways with Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello a couple of months ago?
The Texas native sure does like posting ambiguous photos about his love life on Instagram. He previously posted a photo of himself and ex-girlfriend Cabello looking close way before their relationship became public.
This time, he posted a black and white snap with his latest studio buddy, Becky G on the photo sharing website. The young singers seemed to be quite cosy with each other as the “Shower” singer looking like she was caressing Mahone’s chin.
It was captioned “Focused.”
Could Becky G be Austin Mahone’s new girlfriend?
According to Hollywood Life, the “Mmm Yeah” singer’s friends seem to think she’s the perfect girl for him.
“Becky would be good for him because she’s super independent,” a source reportedly told the gossip site.
“There’s no way she wants to be known as anyone’s girlfriend, she’s Miss Independent so she’s gonna be on the same page as him as far as wanting to keep their relationship very private because she wants to be recognized on her own.”
Was the insider referring to the previous events that lead to Mahone and Cabello’s breakup in November? It was, after all, the “Sledgehammer” singer who announced the nature of their relationship during an interview. She was also the one who admitted that it had ended during a different guesting.
Hollywood Life previously reported that Mahone had been upset that Cabello divulged their relationship to the public and accused her of using the information to sell albums.
The teen sensation was quick to deny the claim, however. In fact, the friendly exes have been seen attending the same parties and even tweeted each other recently.
