It has been heavily speculated that an all-new "Star Wars 7" trailer release date is already scheduled with "Avengers 2" this coming May.
While Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to confirm the news, Latino Review claimed that the new footage to J.J. Abrams' sci-fi movie is indeed going to be launched at "Avengers 2."
Original cast members like Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa are reportedly going to appear in the new trailer of "Star Wars 7."
"Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford reprising their beloved roles as (respectively) Leia Organa/Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo" will be featured in the next footage according to Screent Rant.
In addition to Ford, Hamill and Fisher, fan-favorite characters from the franchise namely C-3PO, Chewbacca and R2-D2 could also appear in the new sneak peak rumored to be released this May.
While the new "Star Wars 7" trailer release date is heavily rumored to happen at "Avengers 2," rumors also suggest that it could happen earlier.
Another trailer release date possibility is on April 16, the franchise's commemorative celebration.
Screen Rant previously reported that there is a huge possibility that the second teaser footage could be released during the Star Wars event following reports that J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy will both grace the occasion.
"Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy will kick off the show in a big way on Thursday morning, April 16, at 10:00 a.m." starwars.com stated. "This will be a day long remembered."
The first "Star Wars 7" trailer, which debut during Thanksgiving in cinemas and online immediately gained over 56 million views in YouTube.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" starring John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver,Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, with returning cast Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker will be released on Dec. 18, 2015.
